HIgh quality hobby grade machine
This is a great super-hobby grade machine. I have crashed this thing, really hard, into hard objects many times, and it has just a few scratches on it. Seems indestructible. Battery life is reasonable, but having a spare is always is better. I found them cheap online. It is FUN and challenging. There is a learning curve. Yes it actually takes some PRACTICE, which is not for everyone, I guess.

Building with balsa is easy and fun
Great kit. Even includes glue. The Hurricane and a few others have complete build videos online. The red tissue is easy to see in the air and was an actual paint scheme of AA gun “ calibration “ aircraft.

Great book for serious learners
This book and the second part are NOT about learning how to converse casually In Japanese. They are about learning how to construct sentences using proper Japanese grammar. They are fantastic books, but look at it this way - they teach you how to speak like a college professor. Face it, most people (in the US as well as Japan) converse more to the level of middle school students. Recommended. Learn how to speak properly first and pick up the common speak when you’re there.
