Not what I was expecting
Let me start off by saying I’m a total kicker guy. I have a 10” crt 2ohm dual voice coil in a crew cab Silverado and wanted an amp to really push my speaker to its limits. I figured since the amp is 400 watts rms at 1 ohm and my speaker is 400 watts rms capable at 1 ohm, that this would be the perfect fit. However, I was disappointed with the bass and power this amp provided. It doesn’t have the punch or the deep bass that I know the speaker has. Ive had a system in my vehicle since I was 16 ( now 46) and I’ve installed them all, so I know what I’m doing and didn’t wire anything wrong or not tune it right. I wired it with 4 gauge, so it has plenty of juice. I should have went to the cxa 800.1 I guess. This is the very first kicker product I have ever been disappointed in, and I’ve had kickers in my vehicles for over 25 years. Still a kicker fan, but if you are looking to push a 10” at one ohm I would go to the next amp up. I love you kicker, but not happy with this amp. Just my opinion
