Problem solved...
This NOVA KAN-L5 2-pin is exactly the same as the OEM on/off piece in my Hoover vacuum. Part fits perfectly... and vacuum works fine now. One minute repair.

Perfect OEM part for the 2006 Saturn VUE
Although this AC Delco OEM part is for an Chevy Equinox, the specs are the same as a 2006 Saturn VUE and the price was cheaper than an original Saturn part. Installation fit like a charm.
