Silence is golden.
Very nice headphones. For voice over or studio work the ability to attenuate 32db is, frankly, incredible. You have to experience it to fully understand. Definitely a good buy.

Solid sound and materials. Quality where it counts.
First time buyer of these wonderful headphones. There's a reason that these have been made for nearly 30 years. These, for me at least, were comfortable on the head and ears, and the sound was crisp and clear just as a monitoring headphone should be. Everyone is different. So to say that these are the best for "you" presumes too much. But I tested these out at a dealer long before I ever bought them because I just wanted to know the build quality and subjectively test the sound quality. On top of that these are built in Germany and that's an added bonus. All around a quality headphone that I know I'll be buying more of for family in the future.
