Title is good but did not give a clue to its content
The book is wonderful, it starts slow and then draws you in. I read it till the end in a couple of days, unfortunately did not get anything done , now about to start the next in the series.

explains the book
A wonderful book for anyone interested in costume, sketches on every page, concise descriptions of garments and accessories, when they were used (13th, 17th, 19th centuries) and what for eg.
Jube 17th c. (m) a short sleeveless coat or jacket.
Brilliant enjoyable and funny.
