GREAT music, from a GREAT movie! :-)
STILL delightfully charming music -- from a still delightfully charming movie! -- after all these years. ["Strictly Ballroom" (1992, Australia)]
Some of my particular favourite tracks from the soundtrack album were not used, or were not used in their lyric form, in the final movie. As, for example, 'Standing In The Rain' which is such a good song, but only was used as the instrumental background for Scott's solo dance.
Other personal favourites include 'Time After Time' (sung by Tara Morice herself, who played Fran the female lead character), the playful 'Rhumba des Burros', and of course the so-romantic 'Perhaps, Perhaps, Perhaps' which was used so effectively at a critical point in the film.

Expect the Unexpected -- and enjoy!
Crisp writing, unexpectedly refreshing characters, and uniquely delightful -- and original! -- plot twists make this THE most satisfying book ever by the prolific Mary Balogh: a short sweet little book that will make you smile and laugh ... and then go back to the beginning and reread from scratch, to see what was *really* happening all along. Much recommended.

The heartwarming and life-affirming story, the iconic characters, the songs -- "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer" was such an inspirational force which has never dimmed from my childhood, and re-experiencing it as an adult allows me to appreciate this timeless classic even more because now I can understand the psychological underpinnings of how and why it's so brilliant.
Getting access to the 50th Anniversary special edition DVD is an added plus!
