After using this for 5 days it cleared a very dirty pond to almost perfectly clear. Very well made, Very good product. Easy to change 55 watt UV bulb. *****

Well made but only time will tell
Did not clear any better than a cheaper filter i had. After 3 days with a 3600 gph pump in a 1000 gallon pond the Oase 8000 only cleared less than a foot out of 4 foot depth . I wanted this over the 130202 - AllClear G2 4500 & SolidFlo G2 3600 - Combo - only because it had a 55 watt uv instead of the 9 watt that came with the 130202 - AllClear G2 4500 & SolidFlo G2 3600 - Combo.
The price of this was about the same but no pump "620.00". This unit is very well made but for the price I would have bought the 130202 - AllClear G2 4500 & SolidFlo G2 3600 - Combo that comes WITH a pump and probably would have the same results of cleaning. Only time will tell but I am still waiting for water to clear to see my fish.

Could work for someone else but not me.
When putting this in a pond that was slightly cloudy it made it worse. It took 1 week to get it back to where it was. I have a 4000 gal filter on a 1000 pond. I thought this would have made my pond super clear. Even when I repeated treatment it went back to very cloudy every time it was added. Water levels are perfect. I wound up adding a super fine filter media to filter and this is what worked.
