They are very cool
I own a c1500 1993
Its a big difference on the appearance, it makes it look mean and sick
The only complaint is the wiring instructions that is a little confusing. It talks about black wire (ground) and a red wire. There are no red wires just green. So I assume the green wire was the red. One light was calibrated but one was off. Before removing them make sure to turn the lights and mark where the point at and mark it. This way u know how much you need to adjust

Looks great
I dont know about horse power but i just replaced my old one with this one as a regular maintenance basis. I have red grounding cables, red open element air filter, red JBA spark wires, red voltage regulator and now this red rotor cap. Everything is matching to my style
