The box arrived in wonky condition with USPS "received in damaged condition" tape but sheet music itself was totally intact. I can't tell if the tape used to seal the box was flimsy or if USPS tossed it around. Regardless, good seller. I'm generally wary of smoke in secondhand/vintage items but this lot was as advertised - *without* smoke!

Light weight and air cooled.
It's light weight. I like the fact that it's ventilated. The breeze blows through the tiny holes and helps keep
your head cool. Plus, no one else around here wears one.

my strange violin
They don't work well with my particular violin. I'm sure they are good strings however.

Fiddle fretter
1 von 2 finden das hilfreich This is for players that are having difficulty playing in tune. I'm a professional violinist. I wanted to try it to see what it would be like being able to play three and four note chords on violin, and having them be perfectly in tune.
It works, however, since I'm used to having a perfectly smooth fingerboard on my violin, the feel under my fingers of having frets was jarring.
The jury is out. I need to put them back on the violin, but first have the nut raised slightly. The reason for this is that when I installed the fiddle fretter, my action was then too low to properly gauge how they work. The strings were hitting the frets on the fiddle fretter. So, I need to have a shim installed under the violin nut and then put the fiddle fretter back on again.
I do like the concept. I play jazz, rock and roll and classical. For a classical player, these might be too much of a change from a standard set up. For a fiddle player or jazz player, these could be excellent. Give them a try. They are easy to install, and remove.
