Very good, but not perfect.
Having been locked down with my partner near the Thames I decided to splash out on the mini tripod to solve the problem of not being able to use traditional rod rests in the concrete mooring areas I would be fishing at the start of the river season.
I looked at a number of options I went for the new 2020 Korum mini tripod as it seemed to fulfil my requirements and being a fan of the quality of other Korum products I had hoped for the same standard of manufacture. I wasn't disappointed.
The Tripod is exceptionally well made, strong robust and easily assembled. The adjustment is easy with the same leg extension system as my photography tripod so locks well at whatever height setting you select.
A couple of thoughts after my first successful outing with the tripod, firstly you need to add a couple of rod rests for the buzz bar as these are not included in the kit, which is frankly daft as you can't use the tripod without them! Secondly, Korum should also have provided a carry/storage bag, as photography tripod manufacturers do.
In terms of performance, the day I used the tripod it was quite windy and I had a restricted area on the bank only being about 3 or 4 feet deep so I had to use the Tripod on the lowest height setting. It was sturdy enough and wasn't affected by the strong breeze and stood firm, however the rods extension above the tripod was a little too excessive and it was quite tricky to see bites with all the rod movement. Under normal extended tripod leg extension this shouldn't be a problem.
So to conclude, Mr Korum please add the rod rests within the kit and supply a protective carrying bag and it would be perfect and score 5 stars.

Great value macro lens

Great accompaniment for a full frame Nikon.
Bought this to match my first full frame Nikon Camera and it is superb. Firstly its built like a brick s**t house and is of outstanding build quality. This does make it heavy but no problem with OS built into the lens. It has a wide 82mm lens size which balances the look and feel of the heavy d800 Nikon.
It's extremely sharp and a great street lens for everyday shooting. If you use a polarising filter the colours are rich and deep. 5/5.
