A bridge too late
This is an Academic work for those with a serious interest in the subject. With the benefit of hindsight it makes a studied claim for the bridges coup to have been achievable during the advance from Normandy. It adds evidence to the accepted view that Market a Garden was a poorly planned and executed affair with rushed planning, poor inter-service co-operation and decision making which even the most gallant and dedicated actions of the front-line participants could not offset. It goes even further by questioning the real value of such elite forces at a time of manpower shortages. It reviews later similar operations. It also, for me, offers clear lessons going forward on what are the merits and shortcomings of airborne forces.

Great item.
I have bought three of these to date. A turntable will display three of my 1/6 scale figures. It is well-made, sturdy and neat with a decent length of cable. The surface light is a bonus feature. Delivery was fast with good packaging.

Very useful
Works well. Easy set-up. My wife has poor eyesight and it is perfect for controlling lights, checking the time etc.
