Iconic Design on a watch with a Swiss Movement on a great German brand with a reliable Swiss movement.

The Perfect Airman
Not everyone likes retro or copies of original watches, but the Airman Vintage LE is a modern interpretation of the early 1953 Airman that represents the start of an iconic 24 hour watch made specifically for pilots. The original was 36mm, but this modern version is 42mm, and has a beatuiful cream dial and red date. The watch even comes in a wooden box, like the original. Limited to 600 worldwide, it offers future collectability, but I suggest wearing it and enjoying its iconic design and relaible ETA movement, which is nicely decorated. If you were to own one Glycine "Purist" - meaning 24 hour display that rotates one full cycle in 24 hours, rather than 12 hours, this is at the top of my "to have" list.
Two other Glycine Purist watches to check out are the Purist DC-4 and Airman 1 watches.
