Good Product but Confusing Instructions
The instructions are confusing and may not apply to every GE model.
The instructions for installation said to remove the old filter by turning it to the left but we had to turn it to the right to remove it. Then, to install the new filter, we had to turn it in the opposite direction of the instructions.
The instructions also said to line up the arrow on the filter with the arrow on the cartridge holder. Our model's cartridge did not have any arrows. We figured it out by having the filter's arrow go in the front.
