'Valve' phono preamplifier
2 von 2 finden das hilfreich Also the title suggests that is an all valve pre-amplifier - it is not: the input stage is made with a low noise op-amp which also does the RIAA correction, the second stage is a valve, as seen through the window in the front of the housing.

'Historic' HP Distortion Analyzer
This is from the time (mid-80s) when good measurement equipment was still using full analogue circuitry. It is a very good quality instrument and working perfectly fine down to 0.005% distortion levels! It only needed some cleaning of the numerous contacts of the open multi-position switches.
