Admit it, you're not a professional photographer. This works just fine.
I used this twice, and it did a fine job when compared to the traditional way of custom white balancing.

A good light for a good price.
I know there are smaller lights out now, and they sell for a reasonable price. So, why not get one that does the same as they do for a better price. Sure, it's a bit bigger and bulkier, but if you're using it in you home studio, who cares.

The wait was worth it.
I have stayed away from action cameras for years, even though they would have been great for bicycling. Now, at this late time, a year after it was introduced, I got my first one; the Action 4. Excellent product, I know the Action 5 came out just weeks ago, at a fair price, but I got such a great deal on this one, it was money well spent.
