Decent quality lock that probably won't fit on your truck
I bought this for use on my 1994 Ford Ranger. Unfortunately, I did not read the reviews prior to this purchase.
The Good: It is relatively easy to install. The instructions are simple and easy to follow. The lock is made of metal and is relatively sturdy. After I put it on my tailgate the tailgate continued to open and close as it should, so no problems there.
Why I gave this two stars: First, the locking mechanism doesn't turn 100% of the way because the locking arm isn't long enough. If it was just slightly longer, there would be no issue. But I will have to get some help to make this $60 lock actually function. Second, it doesn't sit 100% flush to the tailgate like it should. If someone really wanted to break into your truck, it is likely they could use tools to break the lock because of the way it sits.
Overall this is a sturdy, decent quality lock that probably won't fit your truck without some adjustments.

USB was corrupted, activation key worked
3 von 3 finden das hilfreich I purchased this USB with the intent to download it on my new PC build. The process was problematic because the USB I recieved was corrupted. I had to use a different USB to get it to work. The activation key still worked.
