Not appropriate/ gas lighting
I bought this book to educate children about racism, equity and equality and although this book is good there are 2 pages that ruin it being a great educational book. It describes racism as when white people think they are better than other people of race or religion . For a childrens book how am I supposed to show our young children to love and accept everyone no matter their race or religion when your already calling them a racist because of the colour of their skin.I found this to be a form of gas lighting and I will teaching kids that racism is when people think they are better that others because of their race or religion.
