Good garden shredder once you've done a small modification

I read reviews and watched YouTube videos about this particular shredder. Most were positive except that they keep clogging up and cutting out particularly with leafy materials.
A very simple modification is to trim off the small plastic fins inside the waste chute near the bottom of the shredder. Result? No clogging at all! I have already used mine for hours without one single blockage.
Chops up the waste very finely and will easily cope with wood up to 30mm. You do need to make sure that the branches that you feed through are fairly straight as the feed aperture isn't very wide. So you need to trim any large side shoots from the branches before you feed them through.
All in all a great shredder for the home gardener.
Very pleased with my bargain purchase from eBay.

Excellent sound from these super comfortable headphones
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I purchased these Sennheiser headphones recently having previously owned a pair of Pioneer Bluetooth ones which I wasn't that happy with (too heavy, uncomfortable to wear and not enough base).
These HD 599s are in a different league! Really comfortable and just the right amount of bass and treble sound. You can hear every note even from 128kbps mp3 files direct off a laptop. The headphones seem to balance the output of all files perfectly - I like all sorts of music from Dvorak through to Dire Straits through to Deep Purple! Sound quality is wonderful.
I did lots of online research before deciding on these - I wanted a mid priced but quality product, and these Sennheiser's are perfect for me. I also wanted a wired product (as I read that quality is usually better than wireless) and these headphones come with a choice of two cables - a shorter one with small 3.5mm jack plug and a long 3m cable with an older style big plug. I have only used the short one which is ideal for my laptop or phone.
All in all - super happy! And thanks to eBay I got them at a good price too!

Very good flux
Very good flux - makes solder flow very freely. Sticky, so take care not to spill any!
