I have had a lifelong love affair with perfumes. My favorites are delicious gourmands, oriental vanillas that embrace like a hug from an old friend or mysteriously rich, golden ambers. I also love jewelry and girlie things.

Soft spring floral
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich This juice is a softly floral, musky, skin scent with a peony overtone that enhances the scent of one's own skin. The almost creamy effect of the iris and musk is so delicately blended that detecting individual notes is near impossible on my skin, save for a short burst of bright citrus top notes. Despite the citrus this it is in no way "zesty", but rather soft and delicate. I do appreciate it's beauty for what it is: a soft, spring fragrance, though the lasting power is minimal. The heavy padded glass bottle is a lovely dresser ornament as compared to the fleeting juice inside.
Sillage: skinscent. Longevity? About 3.5 hours.

cinnamon-spiced, grilled peaches drizzled with a thick balsamic syrup reduction
6 von 6 finden das hilfreich Casmir is a boozy, rum-soaked fruit dessert. It is sweet, balsalmic and rich with several different notes (vanilla/dried fruit/spices) that keep it interesting. It's a heavier scent that reminds me of heavily cinnamon-spiced, grilled peaches drizzled with a thick balsamic syrup reduction. I recommend wearing it in colder weather. It may be too heavy to wear in the summer during the heat of the day, but is beautiful on breezy summer nights.

Delicious Juice!
This stuff is delicious! Fresh bergamot citrus top notes strongly reminscent of Earl Grey tea dominate the first initial spray. After a few hours the bergamot gives way to a short-lived green note that melds to powdery iris. Though the iris begins to fade the powdery aspect remains but morphs into a delectable caramelized vanilla sugar dipped patchouli. The vanilla on me is minimal but pleasant. I do wish it lasted a bit longer on my skin, but all in all this is cozy, powdery, caramel sweetness.
As with many a Guerlain perfume a little goes a LONG way and the full 3.3 oz bottle will last a long time. The sillage on this baby is monstrous! (I was told by several people in my house they could smell my perfume before I even came down the stairs)! The perfect autumn fragrance with great value.
