License works!
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich Needed 2011 Office for Mac for an older Mac OS. This version of Office for Mac is robust, does not crash like 2008 Office did, and the key & link method worked well. So far I've installed on two Macs, one was running Sierra - this version runs on Sierra with no problems.

Makes it fun to navigate your surround sound system
Bought this to replace an older Harmony 1000. The Ultimate is much more comprehensive. Once you figure out what everything does, it's a joy to program and use. The programming menus could sometimes be more intuitive, but once you dive in to configure everything, it works really well. We have a TV with equipment hidden behind a door, effortlessly controls and switches between our BluRay, Apple TV, Cable TV, terrestrial TV, built in smart TV and Onkyo receiver.

Ideal for older Macs with Thunderbolt
My 2012 Mac Mini couldn't run a 4K display any higher than 1080p resolution. But it can run this Thunderbolt display at 2560 x 1440. I bought it for that resolution, but also really like the built in Firewire / Ethernet / USB2 hub. The only drawback is the connecting Thunderbolt cable - there's no way to extend it. You can only plug it directly into your Mac or into another Thunderbolt device connected to your Mac. No extension cable or Thunderbolt coupler seems to exist anywhere on earth, so I had to reconfigure everything to position the Mini within a meter of the Thunderbolt display, or pay another $300 for a basic docking station. Considering Macs are moving past Thunderbolt in favor of USB3, that seems to be an imprudent investment. FWIW my 2014 MacBookPro runs that 4K monitor at 4K resolution no problem, so if your Mac is from this half of the decade, a new Acer monitor will usually be a better value than this used Thunderbolt display. But if you're running a 2012 Mini Quad Core - this display will breath new life into it.
