Good and Plenty

Very bright, reasonable quality 3mm LEDs. the blue, green, and white (cold white) LEDs are particularly bright. The warm white LEDs are also good and have a decent color. The Yellow-green ("Drak green" in the image) had a strange color (more yellowy than I think the picture shows) that I didn't find appealing. Maybe replace that with aqua LEDs? advice for hobbyists: high brightness, water clear LEDs are better for illumination and are often too bright for indicators lights, so I recommend diffuse LEDs for indicators in your projects.

Okay value, substandard LEDs

The led chips in these are not well matched and/or have noticeable leakage across the junctions. Testing at low current demonstrates this more noticeably as the LEDs turn on at different rates as the current is ramped up.

Decent for breadboards, impossible to solder

These are decently flexible with fairly rigid tips that plug into a breadboard easily. The tips are made of steel (they are attracted to a magnet) and the wire inside is very thin stranded copper. Unfortunately, the steel tips make them nearly impossible to solder to if you want to use them as jumpers on PCBs.
