Very good synthetic reed, research strength
I've been using synthetic reeds for a few years now...no worries about soaking, plays right away. They last quite a while. I usually use a 3 (Legere) but don't go by your normal reed/strength. I ordered a 4.5 and feel that's about right for me. I'm not a pro, nor a beginner, just concert band usage...I think the tone sounds pretty good, not fake (as I was told with cheaper synthetics). Planning to try the brown soon.

Good reed, consistant
as a beginner oboe player, its a challenge to find a reed that works for you. i've tried about 10 different brands and this jones med/soft works for me. price is better than in stores.

very good value for my needs, works well
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I buy this cover every year...yes, you can hose it down and reuse, but at this price, it's worth it to me to use it as a disposable cover. Have never had any problems with it. Even when I was unable to siphon out a winter and spring worth of snow and rain it was strong enough to hold up. Highly recommend.
