Working fine with OS Mac El Capitan

This is the third Alfa Network Long-range adapter I've bought. The first and second were fine but new operating systems rendered them inoperative. This AWUS036NHR V2 was bought to enable my MacBook Pro (running OS El Capitan) to regain the ability to connect to wi-fi signals that the Mac's built-in wi-fi lacks the power to. Alfa Network provide a driver for Macs running El Capitan and you have to download this to get started. It works fine and Alfa's menu-bar icon appears just as it should. It's a bit of a pain having to buy new adapters when Mac bring out new operating systems but these adapters aren't that expensive and do the job well. Am I going to update to OS Sierra? Nope – at least not until Alfa provide an updated driver.

Brightens up charging your iPhone

Charging up is a bit of a chore but this brightens things up considerably. The LEDs provide instant confirmation that current is flowing into your device. Especially good in subdued light.

Good item. Glad I bought it.

This is a well-made gauge and very easy to use. Readings are displayed even after removing it from the tyre valve so you don't have to struggle to read it close to the tyre. Just remember to zero it afterwards by pressing the pressure release button. It comes in a plastic box shaped to hold it securely - opening this box can be a bit tricky, but after a while you get used to it. Overall, I'm very happy and pleased to recommend it.
