American Experience: The Boys of '36

Love, determination and good character overcoming seemingly insurmountable odds.

This is a documentary about the young Washington State men who won the gold medal in the 1936 Olympics in Berlin. They were very exceptional young men and makes one feel pride for them and for what America once stood for. Held my interest throughout. I read the book too. Surprising since I have no interest in sports whatever and never even watch the Olympics, but the book was completely engaging and made me want to see the documentary as well.

Interesting, educational and easy to read.

I bought this for my daughter after reading it myself. Each episode is very short and easy to read, but educates you with information you might not otherwise have. Very interesting and great if you have limited reading time as each chapter is only 3 to 7 pages at most.

One should always know what youre giving to your loved ones, including yourself.

I actually expected this to be good. I just finished another book by Dr. Strand, Death by Prescription which shows him to be so knowledgeable that I wanted this book, which gives information about alternatives to drugs. I believe it will be very useful for me. Except due to its age, it doesnt cover more recent drugs - the only negative.
