Fixed 'No sim card error'
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich After googling for fixes, i found this circuit board to be a possible cause to the problem of my phone telling me there was no sim inserted and to restart...just to get the same message again...
Remember that the cause of this problem can be the sim card, the motherboard, the sim circuit board...or a combination of these. People leaving bad reviews because it didn't fix their problem don't know what they're talking about!
In my case i fitted the new sim circuit board and it still didn't fix my problem. I then tried another sim and it worked fine so don't assume you've only got the one problem.
If it didn't fix my problem then my motherboard would clearly have been the cause and would've resulted in a new phone. At only £2.95 it was worth trying this versus the cost of a new phone.
There's a very good video on YouTube that shows you how to replace this circuit board. Just search for "Galaxy S4 SIM and micro SD card reader replacement" posted by GoCellPhoneRepair.
Just remember to be very careful with the heat and take note of the alignment tabs on the left side of where it sticks down in the back of the phone, position the left side first when sticking it down.
