Panasonic Lumix G 42.5mm f/1.7 Aspherical Power O.I.S. Lens

I love all of my lenses... BUT.

I'm a hobby photographer shooting with a Panasonic G85 (highly recommended). I love every lens in my micro four thirds lens collection... the highly capable Panasonic 12-60mm kit lens... the awesome Olympus 12-40mm F2.8... my take-anywhere pancake Panasonic 14mm F2.5... and the screaming value that is the Olympus 40-150mm F4-5.6 zoom... ... but in the "WOW" department, my Panasonic 42.5mm F1.7 easily takes the cake. From center to edge and wide open, this lens tack-sharp and focuses instantly. Obviously the in-lens stabilization and quality glass work together to achieve this. I have seen head-to-head comparisons versus the highly vaunted Leica Nocticron 42.5mm F1.2 and honestly, I just don't see the quality difference that would justify paying so much more for the Nocticron. This is a SMASHING lens for portraits. Just today, my neighbors (who have a DSLR but had seen my work with this lens) asked that I come over to shoot their portrait before leaving for a gala this evening. (I can't add their photos for privacy reasons but I'll post some of my other favorites.) The pics did not disappoint. I haven't used it much for video but many online reviews say it's one of their favorites for that purpose.

Amazing perfume. A rare find.

I am absolutely amazed that this perfume (along with its counterpart for men) is so hard to find. Its clean scent makes it an excellent "daily" perfume for women. It simply smells incredible and unlike anything out there. I got it for a girlfriend once years ago and she was constantly asked what she was wearing and complimented on it. Because it's so rare now, the price is marked up considerably. Please bring this back, Armani!!!

Screaming value. Great for starters and up.

Really happy with this lens. That I paid so little for it compared to my other lenses only underscores what a great value it is. It doesn't have weather-sealing or nano-coating or stabilization... but it takes great pictures and focuses quickly, which means it scores points where it counts.
