This unit is made to a cost not to a quality
Completely impossible to receive DAB at my location in north Essex, with this unit.
This micro system has an attached aerial wire which is totally unable to receive even the local
radio station.
The micro system needs to have an aerial input socket fitted not a length of attached wire.

Chinese copy
This item was designed and manufactured by Silka but the design was copied by the Chinese more than 5 years ago and Silka ceased production and withdrew all support (smart card, updates etc.)
I phoned Silka to request a smart card as in the instructions and leant the history of the item. They recommended not to use it, specially not to plug it in to the ECU as they have many records of it corrupting the ECU or even catching fire !
The unit was also supplied with a mains adapter suitable for the American market and not a UK plug.
