Fantastic model
The extensive amount of attention that has gone into this model is fantastic, one of the best purchases of any Thomas & Friends merchandise that I’ve made in years.

A fantastic redesign
Plarail without any doubt never fails to impress, this redesign of Edward looks really great and runs really well. The wagon that also comes with Edward has a face which that is based on the trucks notably seen in Africa from the most recent movie Big World Big Adventures which to many might not seem such a big deal but to me it’s a nice change to see a bit more variety in more recent facial expressions used on the wagons seen in the show. The redesign locomotive is also powered by a single AA battery which is easily inserted under Edward’s boiler, this change I welcome since I found with the original Plarail toy running off a C battery which was inserted in Edward’s tender did not seem to last as long running at times. A very nice edition to any Thomas fans collection.

Awesome book, worth every penny spent!
The stories used in the book are very well combined together and does an excellent job in telling you how Thomas is very cheeky and gets taught a lesson by Gordon then proves he's really useful by helping James after an accident and earning his very own branch line.
