Professional printer requires professional attention
This is a professional printer that takes a fair bit of knowledge to manage and use. Because it's a pigment based printer it needs to be used regularly - like once a week or so - to avoid print head clogs. Once set up and running (not really that hard, but there is a lot to do) the prints are first rate professional products. Very happy with the results and can't believe this quality comes at such a reasonable price. If you are an occasional printer and don't need the archival properties of pigment ink, then you really should be looking at the Pixma Pro 100 (200, 300) series. If you love the craft of printing, print regularly and often, and don't think an image is complete until it's expressed on paper, then the imageGraf Pro-1000 is a great choice.

Amazingly sharp
Love the images this lens enables! Although it's bigger than the alternatives (70-300 and 24-240) it's still pretty light for its quality.
