A Revenge For The Ages
0 von 1 finden das hilfreich This is the novel based on 2005's film Revenge OF The Sith. While the pace of the novel is much slower than the film the novel takes a deeper perspective into Anakin Skywalker and what's it like to be him the book goes to highs and lows which seems over the course of a few fateful days that change Anakin and The Republic Forever. The book is a good conclusion to the Clone Wars era being this is the final showdowns and all the secrets being revealed of past novels. I found the novel to be much sadder than the film which was a surprise maybe cause the depiction of Anakin is more personal but the ending is definitely something to think on. It is a story that is happening right now feel and the story of a hero's wanting power and it corrupting his ideals. Palpatine is so crafty cunning convincing that you actually start to believe the Jedi are evil like Anakin does ! The Jedi are wiped out and the Republic is destroyed ! The book is a political and personal tragedy the start of dark times ending with hope for the future. A must read novel for any star wars fan.
