Quality and Style
These shoes are made of high quality materials and are obviously well constructed. They are comfortable and, not to be forgotten, they are stylish (in my humble opinion). The gum rubber soles have terrific traction. Much more so than most skateboarding shoes or shoes of that type.

Quality Construction And Beautiful Original Look
I put these new tuners on a late 1940s Gibson LG2 and a 1951 Gibson L48. They look like brand new original tuners from the 1950s. The attention to detail is excellent. The celluloid (or faux celluloid) tuning buttons look like they were made in the 40s or 50s and look fantastic. The replacement screws that were included worked great. I'm obviously keeping my original tuners with pulverized celluloid tuning buttons in case I ever want to restore them. But I've now got the next best thing and they look and work fantastic.
