Excellent bang for buck amp!

Also, with XLR cables connected... Much improved clarity, detail and imaging is achieved. So, if you buy this amp, nab a pair of XLR's to boot and ditch those RCA's.
Stays cool as a cucumber and runs quite as a mouse.
Menu settings for those not connecting to pre/ pro's and preamps.
Lastly... Closeted my beloved Yamaha MX-1000u in lieu of the Crown Pro XLS 2502, if that tells you something.

Belden 1505F (6') RCA (pair)... WOW!
I've always used Monster and/or BB's Rocketfish RCA's. However, I found these Belden to be of a better build quality upon initial exam, installation and use.
I've been building/upgrading my PC sound up from just PNP and motherboard sound to a better standard, subjective to some but definitely works massively better for me:
Creative SB ZxR PCI-e soundcard
Yamaha CX-A5100 pre/pro
Yamaha MX-1000u pwr-amp
Klipsch RB-81 II (being replaced soon w/ either Klipsch: RF-7 II/III or Forte III Heritage)
Klipsch RW-12D sub (keeper!)
After replacing my Rocketfish RCA's (running out from the ZxR to the CX-A5100 & CX-A5100 to the MX-1000u) w/ the Beldens... Details, clarity and soundstage injected! I was and still am amazed at what I was missing in my music! The playback in my system was already static/artifact free BUT when I added the Belden's I was able to max the volume w/ no signal present and got dead-slience; perfection!
Overall, I can honestly say my system got an upgrade in sound quality and sound stage for really next to nothing in price, when compared to other components in my system and what I plan to get next for speaker upgrades.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

YAMAHA MX-1000u BEAST!
Excellent/clean sound quality delivery... One of the best amps ever produced in the 80's, especially at it's price-point; zero contenders. Still competes and bests modern amps of today.
Amp was received in a very well packaged box! Amp was extremely clean and in 9.5 out of 10 stars condition; minute scratches on top cover, small bend lower-left front plate lip. These are almost unnoticeable and easy fixes.
Amp powered up perfectly fine and sounds AWESOME!!! Only issue discovered, right channel display meter works for first 3-5 minutes when first powered on, then stops? Will require some t/shooting; may have been dropped during shipment. The meter assemblies on these amps are sensitive/delicate.
In any event, I am thrilled with my purchase! I owned an MX-800 back in the late 80's and sold it around 2001 as a leap into the AVR/HT realm.
But having seen this particular MX-1000u on e-Bay, it was one of those op's that don't come around very often, so it was a done deal.
Highly recommended if you can find one of these or an MX-800. They are BEASTS but also produce clean and pure power. Modern amps like these will cost you in the thousands or more.
