Artistically done
If you love the character of Grand Admiral Thrawn, this Exclusive collection is really a must-have.
In the original books by Timothy Zahn ('legends'), as well as in the animated series "Star Wars: Rebels" ('official canon'), collecting and studying art has always been the most fascinating core element of this unique and brilliant character.
Now this Black Series Exclusive is definitely a worthy tribute to Thrawn. The figure itself is high in detail, as well as all the additional pieces of art. They come in a very nice cardboard box that becomes the office from the animated series when opened, also made with love for the detail.
There is the Ysalamiri sculpture and the Twi'lek's Kalikori, as shown in the animated series, as well as a collected Jedi lightsaber which fans have inofficially confirmed to belong to Depa Billaba. Then we have Clone Commander Gree's helmet and Kanan's Temple Guard mask, both confirmed to fit on those separately sold Black Series figures.
And last but not least, the coolest Easter eggs of all: not only that this collection gives you a glimpse on what kind of different pieces of art Thrawn would have to display. On top, we can see that one galaxy was not enough, as he also got his hands on the Holy Grail from "Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade" and the Haakskeekah Stone from a novel called "The Dark Crystal"! That puts a smile on a fan's face who can easily imagine that if anyone ever managed to put an impossible art collection like this together, it would be the Grand Admiral. Artistically done.
