Reliable in all conditions
I have had many Silva compasses in my life, I now own two - as a handheld instrument it is more than adequate. I would never use a Satnav or a phone a compass never has a flat battery (?)

What I asked for was not what I recieved. Unsuitable for my vehicle as it wasn't the right part as requested
I was not satisfied with the components I received they looked good and well made but not for my vehicle which I specified in full detail. Sorry.

I have not used it over a long enough period to give it a positive rating but it seems OK
