Can't do better on price and function.
Fits perfectly in old Ni-cad accessory holder/charger (wall or shelf-mount), but is lighter, charges much faster, and is more powerful. Ni-cad battery in my old 18 volt Shark died, and it was considerably cheaper to buy this lithium-ion upgrade model than replace heavy Ni-cad battery pack. Arrived on first day promised. Tried it already on rugs, hard floors, upholstery, and car, and loved it. Holds charge great deal longer than Ni-cad model, and black color looks better than awful 18-volt purple Ni-cad model. Also all old accessories, (hepa) filters, etc. fit this model, so you have extras in case something breaks or wears out. A real bargain, even if you don't have pets. Two-year warranty.
Costs nearly double or more in stores, without holder and fewer accessories.
One caution: battery isn't replaceable, though lithium batteries last a very long time.
