Beware the dark side, consume you it will.
I've always been a fan of the Expanded Universe line of action figures. However I'm not really a fan of the Expanded Universe stories. I collected the initial line of Expanded Universe figures that Hasbro offered and then my interest waned until a friend told me about the new line that was coming out so I checked it out and purchased Revan.
As a Collector I'm willing to spend the money required to purchase collectible action figures. Revan was a little over priced at $100 but it was worth every penny when the figure arrived in the mail.
The new figures that Disney has released with Hasbro lack articulation and have a stiff style but this action figure was produced before that and I am amazed at the detail in the articulation of the figure. The action figure has articulation in the wrists, elbows and shoulders while it is packaged and I don't intend to open it I assume that there is articulation in the knees but I can't be for sure. I'm not familiar with the story behind Darth Revan except for what I can read on the back of the package but he comes with his own red lightsaber and a spare lightsaber handle accessory along with a pretty cool collector coin. The collector coins really interest me because that brings me back to the old days when I was collecting the vintage Star Wars figures and those figures that came out in the end of the Kenner line of Star Wars action figures had a collector's coin so I'm hoping that in the future figures with the collector coin from the new line will be of a similar value.
I purchase this figure strictly as a Collector piece hoping it will increase in value as time goes by so opening the package is really not an option playing with the figure is not an option but if I did play with the figures I would definitely mark this one as one of my favorites. I highly recommend it so purchase with confidence that you will be pleased with the item.
