Fan is surprisingly powerful, and as quiet as air can be. Fan oscillates at the same speed regardless of fan speed (an indicator of quality design in my opinion). Remote works well. All features are high quality. I'm a "fan person", always have to have a fan or air conditioner---would recommend (and have already recommended) this fan to others.
