Content Compelling!
Can’t decide if this or 1967 edition is better. The earlier one is thinner.
1967 edition is the same pagination as 1957 edition. But the paper is thicker. Which is the preferred edition?

Westcott’s the ticket if no time for Owen
If you’re at a level in your Christian education where you could read and digest John Owen’s exhaustive commentary on the Book of Hebrews but don’t have the time to read his seven volumes, pick up a copy of B.F. Westcott’s instead and you’re sure to be rewarded for the expense. Dr. Westcott’s commentary is full of technical excellence as well as unique insights into perhaps the one book of the New Testament that most clearly demonstrates why and how the new covenant fulfills and surpasses the first. This volume is worth the time of any serious student of Scripture to acquire. Especially helpful to Greek students will be his list of unique manuscript readings for various passages. The work provides the complete Greek text of Hebrews with a verse-by-verse commentary and footnotes. This volume is for medium to advanced students and scholars and would be a valuable addition to a student, pastoral, or academic’s library.
