Great addictive series!
I heard this series was well done but man this truly has phenomenal actors with terrific story lines. Boardwalk Empire definitely pulls you in and now everything else I was watching is on the back burner. It isn't just good guys/bad guys. The characters are human and complicated and I am very quickly lost in the era of prohibition. Yes, there is some violence, sex, language but it has substance and too many times other films or series are forgetting the substance and in this one person's opinion enough is enough. However, it is not something I would ever recommend for anyone under 17.

One of those movies that is a "must own".
2 von 2 finden das hilfreich I bought this movie about a decade ago on VHS by chance not knowing anything about it and immediately after watching it I went out and bought the dvd. I have borrowed it out several times throughout the years and afterwards good discussion always ensues. If you ever feel overwhelmed by circumstances this movie will give you a whole new perspective. I can not imagine anyone not being moved by this wonderful story
