vital resource with nifty narratives
All useful information - yet the fun is in teasing out the information. The chapters are a bit narrative - skimming does not work - So I learn more than I thought I would.
Like all herbalists, he has his preferred herbs - and some of the stories are a tad on the melodramatic - This was an important book that started me on the path to herbalism decades ago - repurchasing it is a bit like a reunion with a long lost friend.
A vital resource that everyone ought to have who wishes to study herbalism.
