Linksys Max-Stream EA8300 is a real workhorse with mid to low range.
The device is great. It is reliable and easy to configure. This particular refurbished unit is working as it should be and therefore was a fantastic deal at this price.
The signal drop-off at the last few feet of spec range is significant enough to be of concern to some people. I wonder if the mid range has anything to do with the max-stream range extenders Linksys is selling.
Its fast and stable; but I think it could use a range boost fr the out of the box price. This purchase was well worth it.
... Maybe I'll look for a refurbished range extender ;)
