Do not purchase if you want a quiet DVD player, but a great value.
Pros: This model is very slim, can fit almost anywhere, great value
Cons: DVD play mode is very noisy interupts movie fun if you cannot turn TV volume up in an apartment/ Condo. Not what I except from a Sony product.

If you don't have this PSP, go get one!
This PSP is sleek in design and shell color with nice size screen without eye strain, has extremely crisp visual display images gaming etc., feels great to the touch! The only quirk is the system sound does not have the wow effect needed for the true gamer or movie watcher. Battery life is average. Another great thing about this system is with a special adapter you can view your movies on your TV and the extremely crisp image will stay the same!
