Great Movie
I remember the series and now to watch the pilot after all this time we had a great time picking the movie to bits. They just didn't know in those days that they had to get it right or we would know. It was a wonder that Sportie didn't stall every time he revved it up. So funny. so entertaining. Loved it.

A quick lesson in banking corruption
Very fine actors in a setting where they act out a story based on what happened to cause the Global Economic Collapse. So many Australians have no idea of what happened. We were so insulated. While other countries including the great United States almost went broke and so many of their people suffered terribly at the hands of a greedy few, we were busy betraying Prime Minister Gillard who spent our surplus and even put us in debt to save us from going under the way so many other countries did. If you don't understand the economic setting that dictates our fate then see this movie. If you have no idea what the GFC was all about and the devastation it caused then watch this movie. The Big Short explains what happened, in a manner that even a child could understand, via a great story. You will learn how things can get out of hand and people suffer when a boil erupts like a volcano without any warning.
