Best Juan Gabriel concert and one of the best concerts out there
This is a two-hour long concert with more than two dozen songs. Features a very large mariachi band, orchestra and chorus and some songs even include children dancers. Musical arrangements are simply superb. Song "Así fue" features Isabel Pantoja in an historic performance, and the song closing is incredibly powerful with two different trumpets and a sax that gives me the chills. Video and audio are outstanding.
The CDs contain all of the songs in the DVD in the same audio format (5.1), which in my opinion requires many adjustments to try to reproduce the home-theater quality of the DVD. I have not been able to match the almost perfect sound that the DVD provides in my mid-level home-theater receiver.
The DVD includes a documentary about the making of the concert with several interviews. That piece alone is worth the price of the product.
This set is a must have for music lovers anywhere and specially for Juan Gabriel and Latin music fans.
