I am a veteran of the USAF, served 1972-76. After 41 years, 24 as a volunteer and 21 paid (five years both) of Fire/EMS/Tech Rescue/Haz Mat service I retired. Now in my 28th year as a member of Kentucky Community Crisis Response Team and Emergency Services Peer Support Team.

No muss, no fuss, really.
These decoders must be exact fits to match each particular locomotive. The Digitrax decoders I've gotten so far fit perfectly. They come with an instructional pamphlet customized for the decoder that makes installation very easy to understand and accomplish. I am just diving into DCC because I am by no means a wizard at electrical things, or such delicate tiny things as microcomputer boards. Digitrax made my entry much easier than I anticipated.
