Living with a stove....perfect harmony. A must for man cave.
4 von 6 finden das hilfreich I have built a wooden cabin, 12 feet by 8 feet and 7 feet inside height. The roof is tiles over felt and has 4 windows and a stable door. When building this as a place of solitude and isolation I wanted to have as traditional a feel of a prospectors cabin as possible. Once tge cabin was ready it then became necessary to install both a heat sourse as well as somewhere to preare a meal for myself.
I was conscious of the size of my cabin and I did not want uncomfortable overpowering heat. Plus I do not want to be wasting feul.
On delivery I installed it using a 72 mm inside diameter 2 meter of exhaust as my flue. And I made my own cowl
I lit the stove and from the first evening on, I can only say it is a success. I have obviously used a firelighters and tinder to start a fire to get a hot flue.Over successive evenings i have tried lignite nuggets, Cosy glow coal dust nuggets and turf. All burn cleanly and wire the air flow adjustment af the damper at the front the stove sits beautifully providing heat and comfort. I do not need to burn a substantial amount of feul to achieve a warm environment
The build of the stove is top quality and in my opinion through experience works smoothly and I. Would highly recommend this for anyone doing as I have done or a workshop or even ca boat in need of a heat/cooking means.
Would I change any thing about it. No.
It is, for my needs perfect.
The stove is well balanced. Welding is of highest standard
