5 von 5 finden das hilfreich Great product that is much more robust than others I have seen, the damper makes it a much smoother operation when lowering the bike as well.
I used a piece of plywood between the top of the stand and the bike frame as the bike balanced better this way. Also it is best to have the top platform screwed all the way down and also to use the lock-ring to make sure that the stand is as stable as possible. However, if you have limited space and do not have the lock-ring tightened up it is possible to spin the bike round while in the air so that you can work on both sides of the bike.
I was happy to trust the stand to keep my bike safely off the ground for a few days while I had new tyres fitted, the locking lever meant there was no danger of the stand lowering by itself and I never worried about the bike falling off the stand.

Works well as a start-up OS drive for iMac 5k.
Works a treat as a start-up OS drive for my iMac 5k, way faster than the internal Fusion Drive.
