Still a great CPU
Got a Dell Optiplex 7010 or 9010 ? This CPU coupled with a Samsung 850 or 860 Evo connected to the SATA3 port is a great upgrade package even in 2019. Low power so cheap to run and fully cooled with the original Dell CPU cooler. Update the BIOS before installing update the Dell drivers after. Can be fitted in around 10 minutes with just a screwdriver. Needs 1600Mhz RAM so check the labels on the existing RAM and get some if the original RAM is slower than this. 8GB is fine for general use, 16Gb better for intensive or graphics use. Use matched paire for faster RAM access.

The real Miss Marple
2 von 3 finden das hilfreich Agatha Christie told (a young) Joan Hickson that "one day you will play my Miss Marple" This set is an absolute joy to see Joan Hickson as the quintessential Miss Marple. The casting is superb and attention to detail makes the era that these are set in really come to life. Other actresses played the role whilst Joan lives the part. Here indeed is an old lady "with a mind like a meat cleaver"as described by her police acquaintances (once they had seen her amazing powers of deduction and insight into the minds of the guilty parties). This collection is the ultimate entertainment for those who love a good whodunnit in general and a trip through a time when old fashioned values were the norm.Scenery is exquisite and the characters within unravelling plots of Christie's making allow the time to pass far too quickly. A quality collection that far outshines todays versions that may contain a multitude of stars but lack the magic of Joan Hickson.I shall return to these CDs again and again.

Good cable and allows SATA 3 SSDs like the Samsung 860 Pro to run a full speed.
Had a hard disk that would show in the BIOS by kept disappearing in Windows 10. Replaced the SATA cable with one of these and no more problems. Just the right size for the drive bays in a Dell 7010MT - the straight SATA connector is short so the side panel still fits.
