good amp. maybe a little too much drive for my needs.
i played through a Delta King 10 and was really impressed. so much so, that idecided to go for the 15 watt Delta King 12.
while the 12 is a good amp, i think i prefer the lower watt 8. the drive on the 12 is a bit more than i wanted. i prefer to play my '90 Gibson ES 335 and it's difficult for me to get a good CLEAN sound, with volume up.
put a
12AU7 in place of the 12AX7. made a little differnce. maybe it will just take more knob turning to get what i want. but, it's a good amp and i like the drive, when i want it.

3rd pair.
i bought my first pair around 5 years ago. the shoes are well made so they last a long time,even with daily wear. i like the style and prefer a leather shoe. i'm sure i will be buying these again in the future.
