Neat way to play downloaded netflix movies on tv without needing internet access.
Since Netflix will NOT allow wireless mirroring of downloaded movies to a tv (IGNORES downloaded movies on phone WITHOUT warning and instead- SILENTLY consumes GIGAbytes of CELL plan data!!!), this gizmo really saves the day via MHL feature by hiding mirroring via gizmo from Netflix so that Netflix actually uses the downloaded movie.
Sadly, this remote control can not actually select a movie to play via the Netflix app. One must still use the phone touch screen for that final step. Since this is what many folks might specifically want to use the remote for, this shortcoming is very unfortunate.

high quality rugged compact travel cable - thick and thus less flexible.
I ordered both 6 and 12 inch versions. Both are excellent quality but not very flexible due to extra durable (and perhaps larger wire gauge?) design.
